Getting it done for District 1.
Hi, I’m Jenny
I’m running for District 1 City Council because I want Worcester to be a place where kids, seniors, and families can thrive.
I’m a neighborhood association leader, Pulse Magazine Editor, and a mom of three. I waitressed my way through school graduating from Worcester State and obtaining my Master's in Teaching. After briefly serving as an educator in the WPS, I decided to pursue a Masters of Public Administration to further serve the community where I’m raising my kids and giving back to the city I love.
Our neighborhoods deserve a committed public servant who will put our community first, not engage in divisive politics. I led the charge for greater transparency and resident engagement in City Council meetings, and I will be the Councilor that listens and works with you and prioritizes your needs: public safety, quality of life, and responsive city services.
Our People
I will fight for better quality city services like snow removal, litter removal, and crosswalk and road repair. Constituent services are a top priority for me. You’ll always have my number and I’ll always pick up the phone and fight for you.
Our Neighborhood
As a neighborhood association leader, I work with residents and police to keep the community safe. I’ll fight for in-home care, recreational activities for seniors, and an expansion of senior property tax relief so our elders can stay in their homes
Our City
We need strategic city-wide planning, not tax giveaways to downtown developments. We need a dual tax system that saves residential owners money. We need more housing available to ensure that our children can afford to stay in the neighborhood they grew up in.
